The ASC of Stevens Point is pleased to announce a major milestone related to joint replacement surgery. A patient who had their knee replaced on Monday December 19th 2016, was able to go back home on the day of surgery instead of remaining overnight for an extended recovery. This was accomplished through effective pain management strategies by the dedicated and experienced anesthesia team as well as expert surgical technique and postoperative monitoring by the surgeon, as well as the surgical center staff.

The ASC of Stevens Point has been performing total joint procedures since 2010.

Doctors Guse, Henneghan, Nikolai, and Riordan currently perform these surgeries on patients who meet specific criteria, including having an insurance plan which allows the procedure to be performed on an outpatient basis.
