The Ambulatory Surgical Center of Stevens Point has partnered with Stevens Point Orthopedics to perform outpatient foot and ankle procedures at the surgical center. 

Patients experiencing concerns with their foot or ankle should contact Stevens Point Orthopedics to schedule an appointment with Dr. Nikita Grama, a foot and ankle surgeon. She will assess your condition and determine the best course of treatment for you, including whether surgery is necessary. 

Dr. Grama will work closely with you to develop the best care plan tailored to your unique needs. If surgery is recommended, she will collaborate with the Ambulatory Surgical Center to ensure a seamless and comprehensive care experience.

Causes of Foot Pain

Your foot is the base of support for your entire body.  If your foot’s alignment is off because of muscle weakness or structural issues, it can cause problems up your entire leg. Causes of foot pain include:

Total Ankle Replacement

For patients with an ankle joint affected by arthritis, injury, or defect, total ankle replacement can help reduce pain and improve range of motion. The procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis at the Ambulatory Surgical Center of Stevens Point, allowing patients to go home the day of surgery.
