Describe some of your job duties: Customizing anesthesia delivery to patients needs and procedures implementing modern anesthesia practices of multimodal analgesia. Creating positive relationships with the patients we care for and assisting physicians and staff in meeting the needs and comfort of our patients.

What makes working at the ASC special? Working at the Stevens Point Ambulatory Surgical Center is a dream job. Working in an environment where the employees have so much direct input in patient care is a positive for staff and patients. The small town community feel is very comforting and I am blessed to be able to work with such competent and caring Surgeons and staff. The degree of excellence is difficult to find anywhere.

Hobbies: Spending time with my wife, children and grandchildren. I enjoy spending time in the woods, woodworking, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Family/Pets: Bridget my lovely wife of 34 years, 4 children-Jennifer, Elementary school teacher (husband Mark), Kelly, Occupational Therapist (husband Matt), Bobby, Software Engineer, Christina, Business Major UW-Milwaukee. 4 grandchildren – Norah-4, Lilly-3, Rowan-2, Evelyn -1. What is your favorite movie or TV series: Anything that has to do with history, documentaries, comedies, sports and The Green Bay Packers.

If you could travel or live anywhere in the world where would you go? I would like to travel to Germany someday to visit the land where my grandparents came from. As far as where I would want to live? I love central Wisconsin and really have no desire to live anywhere else.

I was born in Clinton, IA but moved around a lot while growing up. I graduated high school in Colorado and that’s where my parents still reside so I tend to claim Colorado as home.

Hobbies: I enjoy running, swimming, reading, photography, traveling, camping, hunting, spending time with family and woodwork…just to name a few.
