The Ambulatory Surgical Center of Stevens Point is a free standing, independent surgical center which opened in August of 2006 and specializes in same day procedures which are procedures which the patients go home on the same day of the procedure.

Physicians from the Bone & Joint Clinic in Wausau, WI (Doctors Lester Owens & Kulpreet Sahota) began providing pain management services at the Ambulatory Surgical Center of Stevens Point starting in April of 2012. This has allowed for an expansion of our pain management services to the Stevens Point Community.

Total knee replacement (arthroplasty) and unicompartmental knee arthroplasty are traditionally considered inpatient surgical procedures.
